Imposteur examines the narrative hierarchies adopted from an anthropocentric view of history, and the ways in which cinema and its derivative forms contribute to the naturalization of power structures. Each poster freezes a moment. Through our culturally conditioned understanding of storytelling codes, films that do not exist are brought to life, thereby revealing the patterns that shape the way stories are told.
